Microsoft Outlook Missing Contacts
Technology Services is aware of isolated incidences where recently migrated staff and faculty have had contacts disappear when Trinity e-mail is synchronized to a smartphone.
When this issue occurs, there are two Contacts folders. Your contacts are are stored in an old Contacts folder, whereas Outlook and Webmail are configured to look at a new Contacts folder.

Recovery Steps
To recover your contacts, perform the following:
- View the old contacts folder in Outlook.
- Select all of your contacts.
- Drag and drop them to the new contacts folder.
- Depending on your smartphone’s model, it may or may not pick up this change.
- If your smartphone now sees all your contacts, you are done!
- If your smartphone does not see all your contacts, remove and re-add your Trinity e-mail account.
