Alumnae Dining Hall

As the college’s food service provider, let us be the first to invite you to join us in Alumnae Hall and experience our fresh and healthy signature dining concepts. These options include our Live Well line featuring fresh vegetables and low-calorie dishes, J. Clark’s Grille featuring fresh hand-patted beef burgers and fresh cut french fries, freshly baked, delicious items from our Just Desserts station and much more.   Our hours are:

Monday –Friday

Breakfast 8:00 am – 9:30 am
Lunch 11:30am – 2:00 pm
Dinner 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm  *6:30pm on Friday*

Saturday and Sunday

Brunch 11:30am – 2:00 pm
Dinner 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm

Market Street Deli

The Deli, located in the Main Hall Basement will reopen for service on Monday January 22, 2024

Hours of Operation

Monday –Friday 7:30 am – 5:00 pm *3:00pm on Friday

Debit, Credit or Flex dollars can be used during all operating hours, additionally, meal plan participants can use their meal plan for a meal exchange during the times below:

7:30am-8:00am (Breakfast Exchange available)
9:30am- 11:30am (Breakfast or Lunch Meal Exchange available)
2:00pm – 5:00pm (Lunch Meal Exchange available) *3:00pm on Friday

Meal Plans and Flex Dollars

On Campus Residents must enroll in one of six Meal Plans (285 meals per semester with $75 or $150 flex; 210 meals per semester with $75 or $150 flex; or 150 meals per semester with $75 or $150 flex).  Residents select their Meal Plan through the Campus Housing Application.

Commuters can select to enroll in a Meal Plan for the semester using the Meal Plan Enrollment Request Form.  There are 2 levels to select a 25 Meal Block or a 50 Meal Block plan.

Commuters, Faculty and Staff are invited to purchase Flex Dollars at the Business Office.  There are three levels to choose from:

Flex dollars can be used at Alumnae Dining Hall or Main Hall Deli.  Flex dollars are tax-free.  Flex dollars roll over each semester if unused.

Catering Requests

Trinity Internal Departments or external groups (via Conference Services) can use Metz Dining Services for their catering needs on campus.  Catering idea books are available at:

Trinity Internal Department’s catering requests

  1. Send an email to Metz General Manager Gilles Syglowski at, with copy to Annette Coram (Conference Services) and Dr. Karen Gerlach (Student Affairs) to request catering services for your event.
    • Please submit requests at least 15 business days in advance.
    • Request must include:
       Department name
       Name of requestor
       Requestor phone and email
       Date of the event
       Time of the event
       Location of the event
       Menu items food, beverages and special requests
       Number of people
       Time of breakdown
  2. Gilles, Metz will respond with a Banquet Event Order (BEO) sheet.
    • The BEO will include the details of your catering order along with the anticipated cost.
    • Use the BEO as an attachment on your Purchase Order Request form for approval through your Department Leader and the Business Office.
    • Send Gilles the PO number as soon as you receive it, so that it can be associated with the invoice for billing purposes.
  3. Finalize your set up request with Annette Coram to accommodate your catering needs
    • Submit your final numbers, and any menu changes 7 days prior the event.
