Defending the Dream Initiative – American University Washington College of Law
Defending the AU Dream Initiative provides free general consultations and if possible, full legal representation to currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students in the D.C. metropolitan area, on immigration matters including but not limited to:

  • DACA renewal
  • TPS Renewal
  • Green card application or renewal
  • Naturalization
  • Humanitarian-based relief (i.e. asylum, U and T visas)

The Dream Initiative provides free immigration legal services to all currently enrolled college students (from community colleges through graduate school) in the DMV, including those at Trinity. They provide free legal consultations as well as full representation on DACA applications, Advance Parole applications (for study abroad potentially), citizenship applications, green card applications, asylum applications, U/T visas, VAWA (for survivors of intimate partner violence), and deportation defense in immigration court.
