AirPlay
AirPlay is a wireless technology that allows iPads, iPhones, MacBooks and other AirPlay-compatible devices to stream video, audio, and photos to Trinity’s projectors. With the growing popularity of tablets and other portable devices, many students and faculty have found exciting ways to incorporate this technology into the classroom to deliver engaging discussions and greater collaboration.
Popular uses for AirPlay include delivering presentations, playing videos, video-conferencing with lecturers, and using the iPad as a document camera. The possibilities are truly endless! Dont plagiarize, J Tags
Compatibility
- AirPlay media streaming is available only on the following:
- iPad, iPhone (3GS or later) or iPod touch (2nd generation or later) running the latest iOS software.
- AirPlay Mirror is available for the following:
- iPad 2, iPad Retina (iPad 3), iPad 4, iPad mini, iPod Touch 5, iPhone 4S and iPhone 5.
- MacBook Air (mid 2011 or newer) with OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion and later.
- MacBook Pro (early 2011 or newer) with OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion and later.
- Older MacBooks may use third-party software AirParrot for AirPlay Mirroring.
Technology Services does not support third-party software or Android apps that provide AirPlay capabilities.
