Thanksgiving Break
November 25, 2026 - 12:00am - All Residence Halls
As a reminder, Trinity Washington University will be closed for Thanksgiving Break starting Wednesday, November 25th, 2026, through Sunday, November 29th, 2026.
If you plan to remain on campus during the break, you must complete the Thanksgiving Break Intent Form by Monday, November 16th, 2026, to let us know your plans. Please check your Trinity email for the link to the form or email CampusHousing@TrinityDC.edu
Please be aware that during the Thanksgiving break, offices will be closed, the Trinity shuttle will not be running, and there will be no visitation in the residence halls. Facilities Services as well as response for lockouts or other needs will be limited during this time. Also, please note that Dining Services will be closed after dinner on Tuesday, November 24th and will reopen on Sunday, November 29th for Dinner.
Lockout hours for Thanksgiving break are as follows:
Wednesday, Nov 25th: 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Thursday, Nov 26th: No Lockout Hours
Friday, Nov 27th: 9:00 am – 10:00 am
Saturday, Nov 28th: 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Plan Ahead: As a reminder, the residence halls close for Winter Break noon on December 12th, 2026. All residents must check out of the residence halls 24 hours after their last final exam, no later than noon on Saturday, December 12th, 2026, whichever comes first. You will receive an email to notify Campus Housing of your Spring housing plans, which will determine your next steps for check out /move out in December. The Office of Campus Housing encourages all residents to plan accordingly. We will be sending Winter Break checkout information in November.
