Living on campus puts you right in the middle of Trinity’s activities, events, and resources! Living on-campus offers students the best possible environment to maximize their collegiate experience and to grow personally, socially, and academically. In addition to the proximity to your classes, and classmates; living on campus is also an affordable and cost-effective choice!

Spring 2025 Hall Closing Dates

All Trinity residence halls will close for Summer Break at 12:00 pm on Saturday, May 10, 2025.  The last day of Spring meals is Friday, May 9, 2025 dinner.  All residents will need to check out and turn in their keys no later than noon on Saturday, May 10, 2025 or 24 hours after your last final.  Please PLAN AHEAD, as there are very few exceptions permitted, and these are reserved for students who are GRADUATING or have approved Academic Obligations only.

Fall 2025 Residence Hall Move In

New First Year move-in will be Saturday, August 16, 2025.  Check-in for new residents will be from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm in Cuvilly Hall lobby.  New residents will receive housing placements beginning in July 2025, and throughout the Summer as they finalize their financial aid arrangements and register for Fall 2025 courses.

Returning Resident move-in will be on Saturday, August 23, 2025.  Check-in for residents will be from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm in Social Hall, Main Hall 1st floor.  Returning Residents: Please be reminded that your move-in is contingent on your final clearance with Enrollment Services to return, and your full-time enrollment in Fall courses.  Please be sure to work with your academic advisor and Enrollment Services to ensure you are all set to return in the Fall.

New Residents

For Prospective New Residents, the Campus Housing Application can be completed now for Fall 2025  housing or Spring 2026 housing.

Fall residents will be sent Assignment letters starting Mid-July and Spring residents will be sent Assignment letters starting in Mid-November.

Room assignment letters will be held for any students who have not completed all necessary Financial Aid or Registration documents with Enrollment Services.

Please check in with Enrollment Services at 202-884-9530 to ensure your clearance for placement.

Returning Residents

Spring 2025 Residents will participate in Room Selection for Fall 2025 housing.  Campus Housing will send residents information about Housing intent for Fall 2025 in early April. If you have questions, please contact Campus Housing at Campushousing@trinitydc.edu.

Summer Housing 2025

Limited Summer Housing is available to current (Spring 2025) residents who plan to live on campus for Fall 2025.  The 2025 Summer Housing Application Opens: Monday March 24, 2025.  In order to be eligible for summer housing, residents must be in good academic, financial and disciplinary standing with Trinity and must meet one of the following requirements to be approved for Summer housing:

  • Registered for summer classes or completing academic requirements at Trinity, or
  • Receiving internship course credit through Trinity, or
  • Serving as a Cunneen Fellow through Campus Ministry, a Mellon Fellow through CAS or similar program
