Welcome to Trinity
The Trinity community welcomes and appreciates the contributions of part-time faculty. Academic Affairs’ goal is to ensure that part-time faculty feel supported and valued as they deliver learning experiences to students and in classrooms. To that end, we offer an online Adjunct Checklist to help prepare for the upcoming semester and to provide essential information and tools to promote academic excellence. This virtual resource is intended to complement the annual adjunct orientation offered by Academic Affairs and collegiate unit leaders. Adjunct orientation is required programming for all part-time faculty and is where essential onboarding of new adjuncts occurs.
We encourage you to review each section of this virtual module and test your knowledge at the end. Complete the Adjunct Checklist to ensure you have met requirements and are ready for the start of class.

Adjunct Orientation
Details for adjunct orientation will be communicated approximately one month prior to the start of the academic term. The orientation will comprise of HR essentials: including onboarding paperwork and obtaining Trinity ID cards. There will additionally be workshops and hospitality available for all attendees to orient you to the Trinity mission and our institutional values. Following the welcome message and workshop led by the Provost, collegiate unit meetings will take place with the respective Deans of the schools and select administrators. For those unable to join in person, hybrid/online completion of necessary tasks will be communicated. We look forward to welcoming you to the new Fall semester!
