Spring 2027 Health Insurance Waiver Deadline

Reminder! CAS Students: Spring 2027 Trinity Health Insurance waiver is open through Tuesday February 3, 2026.  Here’s what you need to know:

  1. If you waived health insurance in the Fall 2026, you do NOT need to waive again.
  2. If you waived in the Fall 2026 but need to be enrolled for Spring 2027, please email the Health Center at HealthCenter@trinitydc.edu to be added for coverage in the Spring.
  3. If you are currently enrolled on the Health Insurance, and graduating in December, please note that your insurance coverage will end on December 31, 2026.

All full time CAS students are invited to enroll in the student health insurance plan.  See details at: https://trinitydc.myahpcare.com/.   If you have your own private health insurance, you can WAIVE the university-sponsored insurance plan to avoid being billed for the coverage beginning June 1, 2026 (Fall) or November 1, 2026 (Spring).  If you do not take action to enroll or waive by the deadline, you will automatically be enrolled in Trinity’s Health Insurance plan.

  • Waiver site for Spring 2027 opens on November 1, 2026
  • Spring transfer/new students waiver deadline: Tuesday January 26, 2027.

Students should log in to: https://trinitydc.myahpcare.com to answer any questions regarding:

  • Plan Information (i.e., highlight flyer, brochure, telemedicine, other carrier flyers, etc.)
  • Information and links to waive and/or enroll in the student health plan
  • Instructions to obtain ID cards
  • Instructions for filing a claim
  • Other pertinent plan and carrier information
  • Option to get online help from AHP team – “do you need help?” https://help.ahpcare.com/ and chat feature available
