Narcan Training

Good Afternoon Trinity Community,

The Health and Wellness Center will be partnering with the DC Prevention Center of Wards 5 & 6 to offer another free Narcan training . This training is open to all students and staff. Please see the flyer below and spread the word on this opportunity!

Event Details:
🗓 Date: Thursday, March 26th
🕚 Time: 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
📍 Location: Payden Academic Center, Room 101

This training will cover:

  • Recognizing signs of opioid overdose
  • Overview of opioid use and overdose statistics in DC
  • How to safely administer Narcan (Naloxone)
  • CPR guidance
  • How to obtain Narcan in DC
  • Trinity’s safety policies and procedures related to substance use and overdose response

Free Narcan kits will be distributed at the end of the session.
