Chief Human Capital Officer - U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission
KerriLaine Clark Prunella is the chief human capital officer at the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission; she was appointed in March 2020. With 20 years of experience in her field, Prunella has worked in both the private and public sectors, including 12 years of prior federal service. Previously, she was senior advisor to the deputy assistant secretary for human resources of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in the Obama administration, advising top leadership on human resources policy and strategy. She also served as the human resources branch chief to the Office of the Director at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the nation’s medical research agency, with 1,200 principal investigators and more than 4,000 postdoctoral fellows.
She earned her MBA from Trinity and holds a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University.
