Chief Diversity and Engagement Officer - Gusto

Bernard Coleman earned his MBA from Trinity in 2007 and serves as the chief diversity and engagement officer at Gusto, which provides a cloud-based payroll, benefits, and human resource management software for businesses. He works to empower the employee engagement team which encompasses diversity, equity and inclusion, employee relations and integrity and governance-compliance functions.

He also writes a column for Inc. magazine, called Culture Code covering issues relating to leadership, employee engagement, culture, diversity, inclusion, equity, and human resources – generally in technology, but more broadly across all sectors.

He previously worked at Uber as the global head of engagement and for the Presidential Campaign for Hillary Clinton.
