Undergraduate Online Declaration of Major/Minor

We’ve developed the online major declaration form as we anticipate celebrating and honoring students who will walk across our Commencement stage.  One of the key aspects of getting our undergraduate students to that stage is ensuring that we know what major (and, when applicable, minor) each student has pursued.  As a few of you have heard from your advisors already, we have launched a new interactive online form for undergraduate major and minor declarations.

Undergraduate students in CAS, SPS, and NHP will now declare their major and/or minor online through the new My Undergraduate Major/Minor form.

PLEASE NOTE:  All programs that require formal application/acceptance (such as Nursing, Occupational Therapy Assistant, and Education) are listed on the form as “planning to apply to….”  Your advisor’s acceptance of your request means you have declared your intention to apply to that program, not that you have been accepted into the program.

This one online form will serve as both your initial major/minor declaration form and, should you need it, the change of curriculum form.  After consultation with your advisor, you will do the following:

  1. Select your school (CAS, NHP, or SPS) on the form.
  2. Log in with your Trinity ID and password.
  3. Select your major (and/or minor:  minors are available in CAS).

PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to declare a 2nd major or a 2nd minor, you will need to fill out a paper form, which is also available online.

You will receive an e-mail notification when your advisor has responded to your request.  If your advisor approves your request, Enrollment Services will make the appropriate changes to your record and will update both your transcript and your online academic plan.
