Dr. Kimberly Monroe Presents her Research with the Crossroads Project Fellowship

Dr. Kimberly Monroe, Associate Professor of Global Affairs, received the Crossroads project Fellowship at Princeton University in 2024. The project supports public understanding of, and scholarly engagement with, Black religious histories and cultures.

On October 9, 2026, Dr. Monroe joined her fellowship cohort at Princeton’s Convergences: Exploring Black Religious Histories, Communities, and Cultures, where she presented her project “Finding Faith in the Storm.” Her work draws on archival research and oral history interviews and includes an exhibit and a short documentary.
