Dr. Shizuka Hsieh Serves as Faculty Fellow with the Associated Kyoto Program

Dr. Shizuka Hsieh, Associate Professor of Chemistry, served as a visiting Faculty Fellow with the Associated Kyoto Program during her sabbatical from Trinity in AY20-21. Dr. Hsieh taught a course on chemical pollution for American liberal arts college students studying abroad in Japan and published an article titled, “Study-abroad in Japan under COVID-19: Emerging Parallels with a Course on Environmental Pollution”. This work is a collaboration with two undergraduates in the course.
