Maradiegue chosen to work with the ANCC and will present at AANP
Dr. Ann Maradiegue, Assistant Professor of Nursing, was recently chosen to chair a Content Panel Expert (CPE) committee for the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) that will create a new genetic certification portfolio for nurses. The committee is developing the portfolio for registered nurses who are eligible to be certified in genetics/genomics.
Additionally, Dr. Maradiegue has been invited to conduct two podium presentations at the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) 2014 National Conference, which will be held this June 17-22, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, TN. She will present both with Dr. Diane Seibert (Family Nurse Practitioner Program Chair and Program Director at Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, MD):
- “Genetics/Genomics and the Family History”
- “Genetics/Genomics Risk Assessment”
