Flournoy’s debut novel to be published

Angela Flournoy, Adjunct Professor of English in the College of Arts & Sciences, recently sold her debut novel, Haunting Detroit, to Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.  Flournoy is a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and was represented in the sale by Trident Media Group (TMG).  TMG describes the novel as “centered on the journey of the Turner family and its thirteen siblings, particularly the eldest and youngest, as they face the ghosts of their pasts.”  You can read more about the novel in TMG’s news release.
