Student Accounts Manager

Trinity, a comprehensive university in the nation’s capital, seeks a Student Accounts Manager.   Trinity emphasizes excellence and innovation in teaching and learning across a full range of liberal arts and professional disciplines in undergraduate and graduate education.   As such, we are looking for someone who enjoys a challenge, who understands and will support Trinity’s mission, is able to prioritize when faced with several important deadlines, and most importantly works well in a team environment.

The Student Accounts Manager joins a dynamic Enrollment Services team is responsible for student billings in PowerCampus, and student account receivables, including special invoicing and disbursing outside scholarship payments to accounts. The Student Accounts Manager also provides assistance to students, parents, faculty, and staff with billing, financial aid, and enrollment services processes.

This position will report to the Vice President of Enrollment Services.  Working hours: 9am -7pm on weekdays and 8am to 2pm on Saturdays.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Customer Service experience in an office environment, required
  • Experience in a university environment in student accounts, financial aid, registrar’s office, academic advising or admissions is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of federal financial aid programs and familiarity with a university environment, preferred

  • Ability to give presentations to groups regarding the college enrollment process
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, employees, and administration
  • Knowledge of student information systems and ability to maintain tuition assessment rules and pull data
  • Ability to prepare financial and other statistical reports
  • Working knowledge of personal computer and mainframe applications
  • Ability to use a computer, standard office software, and automated office equipment
