Admissions Enrollment Counselor (PGS)

Trinity Washington University, seeks an Admissions Enrollment Counselor for our School of Professional and Graduate Studies (PGS) programs to join our admissions team and help us attract and retain adult and non-traditional individuals to our Professional undergraduate and Graduate programs.

Under the supervision of the Associate Vice President of Professional and Graduate Studies, the incumbent will be part of a collaborative team that connects prospective students with Trinity’s dynamic programs in Business, Healthcare, Education and other professional disciplines at the undergraduate and graduate levels.  The successful candidate will have a track record of effective engagement with external constituencies in collegiate admissions, membership development with associations, and other partnerships of mutual interest. Trinity seeks an individual with strong communication talents and eagerness to develop new institutional relationships among corporate, nonprofit and government businesses with the DC Metropolitan area.   The selected individual for this role will join a vibrant, positive, collaborative team and we seek the final missing piece to this puzzle.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build professional networks and student pipelines with corporate, nonprofit and government businesses in the DC Metropolitan area
  • Complete commitment and engagement to Trinity’s mission and strategic goals
  • Establish successful collaborative relationships with the Program Directors in support of enrolling engaged and qualified students to their programs
  • Create and strengthen outreach opportunities with Trinity alumnae/i, and partner colleges
  • Increase applications and enrollments within the business, healthcare, and education programs through innovative market outreach and sales strategies
  • Track and report daily, weekly, monthly recruitment and enrollment progress
  • Meet recruitment goals established for each semester/term

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least three years of successful higher education and/or professional sales experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Must have and be willing to drive your own car.  Trinity reimburses for mileage and travel expenses
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of higher education policies and regulations
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and data analysis a plus
  • Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and OutlookBilingual proficiency is strongly desired (Spanish)
