Adjunct Faculty - Math Spring 2024

Trinity Washington University is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach the following face-to-face course for Spring 2024.

MATH 108: Finite Mathematics (4 cr), Tue Thurs Fri 10:30 AM – 11:45 AM;

Spring classes begin on Monday, January 22 and end Friday, April 26. Final Exam week is from Monday, April 29 through Friday, May 3.

QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates should have earned at least a Master’s degree from an accredited institution in mathematics or a related discipline and be able to demonstrate strong teaching skills. Official transcripts for all degrees earned, sample course syllabi, course evaluations and/or other evidence of teaching effectiveness, and contact information for three professional references will be needed if the candidate is invited to campus for an interview. Knowledge of best teaching practices is required. Finalists will be invited to campus for an interview and teaching demonstration. Preference given to candidates who demonstrate excellence with engaged and active learning practices, and who have experience teaching first-year students
