Adjunct Faculty – Introductory Forensic Science

Trinity Washington University is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach Introductory Forensic Science (4 credits) in the Fall semester, 2023.  The class will meet Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00 pm to 1:15 pm and Thursday for lab from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates should have earned at least a Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Forensic Science, or a related STEM field and be able to demonstrate strong teaching skills, knowledge in the field, and application of inclusive practices. Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. and with teaching experience at the college level. Knowledge of inclusive and high-impact teaching practices is required. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate excellence with engaged and active learning practices.

Official transcripts for all degrees earned, sample course syllabi, course evaluations and/or other evidence of teaching effectiveness, and contact information for three professional references will be needed if the candidate is invited to campus for an interview.  Finalists will be invited to campus for an interview and teaching demonstration.
