Winter Graduation 2023
This year, we are so pleased to host in-person commencements in both January and May. December 2022 and August 2022 graduates are invited to participate in graduation ceremonies in the Trinity Center on January 5th or 6th, 2023. The ceremonies will take place by academic unit.

Please note that when we are indoors at the Trinity Center for winter commencements, we have to limit the number of guests per graduate, and guests must present tickets. We will send out instructions about the number of guests per graduate and how to obtain the tickets directly to graduates.
This moment is the culmination of years of hard work on your part, and we want to recognize and celebrate your achievements. Please review the information below and be familiar with the details for graduation including the event dates by school, instructions for graduates and please be sure to complete the online RSVP form to let us know your plans. Graduates can defer participation in the January ceremonies and instead participate in May 2023 if they wish.
Graduation Clearance
The Enrollment Services Office has communicated directly with you concerning academic requirements for graduation and about settling your accounts in time for graduation. You are responsible to pay attention to these directions and to settle your accounts in a timely manner in order to graduate. Please review the Commencement Checklist to be sure you are on track to graduate!
Guests
Graduate are able to invite up to 10 guests to attend the ceremony. Guests are welcome to arrive 1 hour prior to the ceremony. On campus parking is on a first come, first serve basis, and we encourage the use of public transportation. All guests will be required to wear a mask indoors. Tickets are required for all guests and will be issued to graduates beginning on Tuesday December 6th, once they complete their RSVP form. The ceremonies will each last about one hour. Regalia Purchase: Cap, Gown, Hood and Tassel
You may purchase your academic regalia at the Business Office, located in the Main Hall 114 (1st floor) beginning on Monday November 28, 2022, through Wednesday January 4, 2023.
The prices for regalia are:
Associate’s Degree: Cap, Gown, Black Tassel $29.50 and Collar: $20.25
Bachelor’s Degrees (Undergraduate): Cap, Gown, Black Tassel $29.50 and Hood: $25.00
Master’s Degrees (Graduate): Cap, Gown, Black Tassel $31.00 and Hood: $25.75
You can decorate your mortarboard (cap) or leave it as is with elegant black, it is up to you! A black tassel is included in your graduation order and is the required tassel to wear for Commencement. Cap and Gown Distribution will begin on Tuesday December 6, 2022 through January 4, 2023. Once purchased, graduates can pick up Cap and Gown from Student Affairs, Main 223. Pick up will be on Tuesdays 12pm – 5pm; Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays 8am – 5pm, and Saturday December 17 from 8am – 2pm. You can also pickup your tickets (10 per graduate) at this time. Graduates will receive their collar or hood at check in at the Trinity Center for the in-person ceremony on graduation day.
