Cap and Gown 2016

Saturday, September 24, 2016

On a beautiful afternoon on September 24, members of the senior class wore their caps and gowns for the first time and were officially recognized by Trinity as seniors at Cap and Gown Convocation. This important campus tradition dates back to when the very first class to graduate from Trinity, the Red Class of 1904, gathered in fall 1903. Today, Cap and Gown includes Cap and Gown Convocation and a President’s Reception.

Also at Cap and Gown Convocation, the Freshman class officers received its new class banner. The entire university community, families and friends shared in this tradition with our senior class and their families.
