Mary Beth Morton
Mary Beth Morton, 71, of Williamsport, MD, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Doey’s House.
Born December 27, 1947 in Illinois, she was the daughter of the late John Vernon and Betty Then.
Mary Beth received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Trinity College in Washington, DC., her Master’s Degree in Library Science from Catholic University in Washington, DC., her Paralegal Certificate from the Georgetown School of Law in Washington, DC.
She was inducted into the National Women in Science in the early 1980’s.
Mary Beth worked as a cryptologist for the NSA, an analyst for the CIA, a Librarian for a Law Firm in Washington, DC, as well as, the Reference Librarian for the Fairfax County Library in Middleburg, VA.
She was a member of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Williamsport, MD.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Langdon “Charlie” Morton, of Williamsport, MD., and her sister, Barbara Lacher of Timonium, MD.
