Sacramental Preparation and/or Inquiry into the Catholic Faith

This inquiry class is designed for students and staff who want to learn more about the Catholic faith.

The RCIA (Rite of Christian Instruction of Adults) class has many purposes. Many students take this class to complete the sacraments necessary to become Godparents. Others taking this class want to review or learn more about the Catholic faith. Still others would like to explore Catholicism in order to discern whether or not they want to become Catholics. For those wanting to prepare for and complete the Sacraments (Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation), the process begins in the fall and culminates at the Easter Vigil at St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Washington, D.C. Candidates for the Sacraments and Confirmation into the Catholic Church will attend a special IMPACT retreat before Easter.
