February 12, 2026 - 3:00 pmLibrary
Join the Black Student Alliance for a film viewing. This documentary explores the Cold War from the perspectives of the African countries exploited for their resources. It also involves African American jazz musicians who became a part of Cold War politics. Many notable jazz performers, such as Duke Ellington and Quincy Jones, were sent by the US Department of Information as representatives of the US. This is an untold portion of Cold War history that makes for interesting political discourse.”
