Two Step Verification Tabling Event

Enroll in the Two Step Verification process at this tabling event.
As a result of numerous phishing cyber-attacks in recent months – fake messages designed to get you to click on links and give away your personal information – Trinity’s Technology Services will begin enforcing 2-Step Verification for all Trinity Google services on March 8th, 2026. You can avoid interruptions with accessing your student Gmail by setting it up today. Here’s how:
- Sign into your Trinity Gmail account (http://gmail.trinitydc.edu/).
- You’ll see a notice titled Don’t get locked out. Click the Enroll button to start the 2-Step Verification setup.
- Click the Turn on 2-Step Verification button at the bottom of this page to use your smartphone or choose from one of the other available methods.
- A pop-up will appear to add your phone number. First, type in your phone number, and then choose between receiving a code via text messages or through a call.
- Click Next to continue.
- It will ask you to Confirm your phone number. Click Save.
- 2-Step Verification setup is now complete!
Are you using the Gmail App? You can set up 2-Step Verification using the Gmail App too!
- Log into the Gmail App with your Trinity username and password.
- In the upper-right corner, press on your initials.
- Press Manage your Google Account.
- Press Security & sign-in.
- Press 2-Step Verification.
- Press Phone number. First, type in your phone number, and then choose between receiving a code via text messages or through a call.
- Press Turn on 2-Step Verification.
