Partner with Trinity!

Trinity has been an obvious leader in addressing issues of gender, social, economic and racial inequality in our region for decades! In fact, Trinity is an exemplar for the nation, as DC’s only university designated as a Predominantly Black Institution (PBI), Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI), and Minority Serving Institution (MSI). Our most recent initiative, Trinity DARE: Driving Actions for Racial Equity is creating wider career pipelines for our outstanding students and graduates through key partnerships with corporate and foundation partners throughout the region.

A few current partners include:

  • Collaborative of Leaders in Academia and Business (CoLAB) which provides ongoing scholarship support for Trinity students pursing certificates in Data Analytics. The CoLAB is an action-oriented partnership between Trinity and businesses and other academic institutions to develop the talent needed for the jobs of today and tomorrow.
  • Kaiser Permanente which sponsors training on trauma-informed techniques with an emphasis on cultural competency and expressive arts. This funding enables Trinity to provide professional development to clinical mental health counselors and school counselors in Wards 7 and 8 that focus on trauma-informed and trauma-responsive techniques with an emphasis on expressive arts and creative arts therapy.
  • The Clare Boothe Luce Program which supports professorships and scholarships for talented women in the sciences and mathematics at Trinity. Trinity is proud and honored to be one of thirteen colleges and universities specifically named in Ambassador Luce’s bequest to receive annual grants from the Clare Boothe Luce Program in perpetuity.
  • The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation which has long supported Trinity to fund initiatives that build connections with critical thinking and to strengthen the liberal arts overall.

Whether your organization is interested in hiring Trinity students and alums for internships, fellowships, or full-time employment opportunities, Trinity can work with your company to create strategies for recruitment.
