A Message from Student Affairs
The Trinity community is preparing to formally welcome the Green Class of 2026 to senior status during Cap and Gown Convocation on Saturday, October 25, 2025. Undergraduate students are invited to participate in Cap and Gown Convocation.
Student Affairs is proud to invite Undergraduate students in CAS, EDU, NHP and SPS who have earned senior standing, based on having earned 88 or more credits to date at Trinity to participate in a presentation of seniors. Cap and Gown Convocation will take place on Saturday October 25, 2025 as part of Trinity’s Reunion Weekend! Seniors will gather with their regalia in O’Connor Auditorium at 9:00am.
At Cap and Gown, members of the senior class wear their caps and gowns for the first time and are officially recognized by Trinity as seniors. This important campus tradition dates back to when the very first class to graduate from Trinity, the Red Class of 1904, gathered in fall 1903.
Schedule of Events: Saturday October 25, 2025:
• Senior Robing in O’Connor Auditorium, Main Hall 1st floor at 9:00am
• Processional to the Notre Dame Chapel at 9:50am
• Cap and Gown Convocation in Notre Dame Chapel begins at 10:00am
• Senior Brunch in Alumnae Dining Hall following Convocation at 11:30am – 1:30pm *ticket required
*Seniors will receive 1 ticket at no cost for the Cap and Gown brunch for their use and will be able to purchase up to 2 tickets at $10 each for family members to attend the brunch.

Cost? Cap and Gown: cost is $32.00
Brunch Tickets: free for participating senior, $10.00 each for up to 2 guests
When? Monday October 6, 2025 through Thursday October 23, 2025
Mondays: 8am – 5pm; Tuesdays: 12pm to 5pm; Wednesdays: 8am – 5pm; Thursdays: 8am – 5pm and Fridays: 8am – 4pm and Saturday October 18: 10am – 2:00pm.
Where?
Cap and Gown and Brunch Ticket sales at the Business Office, Main 114.
Cap and Gown / Ticket pickup at Student Affairs, Main Hall 2nd floor.
Please note: If you are not planning to participate in Cap and Gown, you should not purchase regalia until your Graduation date is approaching. For January 2026, regalia will be on sale in November and for May 2026 graduation, regalia will be on sale in April 2026.
