A Message from Sr. Margaret
On New Year’s Day I drove out to Cincinnati to visit with Sr. Margaret Claydon at Mount Notre Dame. She’s in excellent health and wonderful spirits! We had a lovely lunch and compared notes about many things (“two presidents” always have much to discuss, from accreditation to buildings to the state of higher education and the world!).
Sr. Margaret is always a good sport and eagerly agreed to send the video message, above. I know she’d love to hear from you, so please drop her a note at:
Sr. Margaret Claydon, SND
Mount Notre Dame
699 E. Columbia Avenue
Cincinnati, OH 45215
And if you are in Cincinnati or happen to be nearby, she’d love to see members of the great Trinity family.
Happy New Year!
Great video Pat! So good to see Sr. Margaret looking so well! Thanks for going out to see her and sharing this with all alumnae. Happy New year to you and all at Trinity!
You look so good in pink! A far dry from the mode of dress in the 50s and much improved!
when I think of you it is always along with one of my 2 favorite courses at Trinity: Shakespeare and History of Art. Yes, a math major loved it and we did not have to write papers.
I still see classmates and keep up ;with email and phone calls.
My health is good but I do have Wet Macular Degeneration in one eye and get the “shot in the eye” every 6 weeks. It is working, i am told. but vision not what it used to be.
Pleased you are in a good place and recovering from surgery. You are a great lady!
Blessings in 2016 to you and all of Trinity, now and then

A Very Happy 2016 to you, Sister Margaret! Your contributions to the college I attended (class of ’63) and the university it has become are awesome.’Hope to see you back at Trinity this year. I live in Annapolis, which is only about 25 miles away, and, surely, your triumphant return deserves a celebration!
Yes, Sr. Margaret, you are still kicking indeed. I hold you in my heart as one of my best teachers in life!
