Trinity graduate and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi ’62 broke the Marble ceiling when she became the first – and only – woman elected to serve as Speaker of the House, a powerful position that places her second in line to the presidency.  She was recently elected to a fourth term as Speaker.
