Alumna Jasmine Dickerson '05 Named to Senior Staff of USDA

On February 4, 2021, Jasmine Dickerson ’05 was named to a senior staff position at the U.S. Department of Agriculture: Legislative Director in the Office of Congressional Relations, where she will be responsible for ensuring the development and passage of legislation that supports USDA initiatives. Jasmine has an impressive career and continues to rise, including many years in different positions on Capitol Hill, working for on a Congressional committee and several members of Congress, including Elijah Cummings, James Clyburn, Lynn Woolsey and Lisa Blunt Rochester. She worked for nearly 6 years, first as a policy analyst and then as a senior legislative representative, at Feeding America (which has received great national attention during the pandemic).
