Trinity President Patricia McGuire has been honored as one of Washingtonian magazine’s “100 Most Powerful Women” and is featured prominently in the June issue. ” Washington is home to some of the world’s most formidable and talented women,” notes the magazine. “The area’s 100 most powerful defy the common wisdom about what it takes to succeed.” The Washingtonian’s prestigious list of women leaders includes Condoleezza Rice, Hillary Clinton, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Maureen Dowd, Trinity graduate Nancy Pelosi, and Trinity Commencement speakers Sheila Johnson, Marie Johns, Linda Cropp and Eleanor Holmes Norton.
