Philosophy

As a licensed professional counselor and counselor educator, I believe the strengths of student's mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being are integral parts of their learning process. Therefore, my teaching philosophy has three parts. These parts are empowerment as a source of brain power, equanimity as a source of mental, emotional, and spiritual health, and excellence as a source of infinite potential.
