Vigil for Tyre Nichols and Police Brutality Victims

Trinity will host a vigil to honor the life of Tyre Nichols, who died at the hands of Memphis police.  We take a moment to mourn the lives lost due to police brutality including Tyre Nichols, and also to acknowledge the deaths of others who were victims of police brutality.

The vigil will follow Soulful Thursday: “When and Where I Enter”: Black Women and Resistance” event (Feb. 9 from 1:30 pm-2:45 pm at Payden 103).  After Dr. Monroe’s presentation, we will walk as a group from Payden to the Front Lawn, near the Notre Dame Chapel for the vigil.
