-It is recommended that students complete all general education requirements before starting the Nursing Program; however, CAS students may complete up to 9 credits of the following courses while in the Nursing Program: Literature, Fine Arts, Religious Studies, History, or Foreign Language. All other general education and nursing prerequisite course requirements listed above MUST be successfully completed before starting the Nursing Program.
Admission to the Nursing Program
Early in the final semester of general education and nursing prerequisite courses, students submit a formal application to the Nursing Program.
