Printing from Android

To print from Android devices Google recommends the Google Cloud Print app. The app allows other apps such as Chrome, Adobe Acrobat Reader or Word send files to Trinity’s print queues via the Google Cloud Print service. Depending on the app you are printing from, the way you print might be slightly different. With some apps you have to share the file with the printer while with others you will see and option to print directly.

The instructions below demonstrate how to install and configure the Google Cloud Print app and print from Chrome, Adobe Acrobat Reader and Word apps on an Android 6.x Marshmallow device. If you have an older or newer version of Android on your phone the exact steps might be slightly different.

Installing and configuring the Google Cloud Print app

1. Locate and install the Google Cloud Print app in the  play store. The app is not going to appear on your phone. It only adds functionality to other apps.
