Director of Marketing and Enrollment, Graduate and Professional Programs

Trinity Washington University seeks a dynamic admission professional to lead the sales team for Graduate and Professional Programs.  The Director of Marketing and Enrollment is responsible for developing and executing recruiting strategies to meet Trinity’s goals for new student enrollment in graduate and undergraduate programs in the School of Education and School of Nursing and Health Professions.  Candidates for this position must have a demonstrated track record of success in developing recruiting pipelines by building partnerships with corporate entities, hospitals and healthcare providers, schools and school systems, nonprofit and community organizations, government and military entities, among others.

The Director will report to the Vice President of Admissions and will be the lead salesperson in the field with Trinity recruiters, able to establish and nurture partner relationships, make compelling presentations to prospective student groups, work with Trinity’s Creative Services team on marketing materials, and work with deans and faculty to learn important and attractive features of each program and ensure fulfillment of academic standards in admitting students to the programs.  Outstanding communication skills (oral and in writing) essential; the ability to lead teams, think strategically, and cooperate effectively with other team leaders are all essential.  The Director will also organize and execute yield events and create new partnership pipelines to enrollment.

Primary responsibilities of the position include:

  • Learn important and attractive features of each program and lead the sales team for Graduate and Professional Recruiting
  • Develop, plan, and execute yield events working collaboratively with internal partners
  • Manage recruitment events in a strategic way to meet enrollment benchmarks
  • Use data to track enrollment analytics and target efforts for outreach
  • Generate and present high-profile information sessions with internal and external partners
  • Collaborate with the CRM Manager to oversee the enrollment student portal

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree preferred, bachelor’s required
  • Candidates must have at least 5 years of successful experience in student recruiting, marketing or equivalent sales positions
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • This position requires driving a personal vehicle on behalf of the university; therefore, the incumbent must possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license. Trinity reimburses mileage and travel expenses.
