Adjunct Faculty_ACT – Information Technology – Cybersecurity
Trinity Washington University is seeking a dynamic educator who is able to teach both online and face -to-face courses for the new Advanced Technical Center, a high school dual enrollment program in the College of Arts & Sciences. Courses may include Fundamentals of Cybersecurity, Internetworking Technologies, Digital Forensics, Cybersecurity Capstone, and Introduction to Programming.
For Spring 2023, candidates would teach one section of the 4-credit ITEC 150: Internetworking Technologies (Networks) and one section of the 3-credit Introduction to Programming (Python) per the following schedule:

This role would include additional compensation commensurate with the additional teaching hours.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Successful candidates should have earned at least a Master’s degree from an accredited institution and demonstrated strong teaching skills. Previous undergraduate classroom experience required.
Preferences:
Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching dual enrollment students who demonstrate excellence with engaged and active learning practices.
Requirements:
Official transcripts for all degrees earned, sample course syllabi, course evaluations and/or other evidence of teaching effectiveness, and contact information for three professional references will be needed if the candidate is invited to campus for an interview.
Knowledge of best teaching practices is required. Finalists will be invited for an interview and teaching demonstration.
