Adjunct Faculty – Environmental Studies

Trinity Washington University is seeking a dynamic educator to teach the following two sections of the 4-credit class – ENVS 101: Discovering Planet Earth, for the Early College Academy (ECA) program in the College of Arts & Sciences for spring 2022.

 

ENVS 101/1: Lecture: TuTh 1:30 – 2:45     Lab: Tuesday 9:00 – 12:00

ENVS 101/2: Lecture: TuTh 1:30 – 2:45    Lab: Thursday 9:00 – 12:00

 

These are in-person classes on Trinity’s campus.

QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates should have earned at least a Master’s degree from an accredited institution and be able to demonstrate strong teaching skills. Previous undergraduate classroom experience required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching dual enrollment students, and who demonstrate excellence with engaged and active learning practices.

Official transcripts for all degrees earned, sample course syllabi, course evaluations and/or other evidence of teaching effectiveness, and contact information for three professional references will be needed if the candidate is invited to campus for an interview. Knowledge of best teaching practices is required. Finalists will be invited for an interview and teaching demonstration.
