Adjunct Faculty – Mathematics

Trinity Washington University is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach Mathematics for the College of Arts and Sciences starting Fall 2021.  The course is Math 108, Finite Mathematics.  The two open sections are MWF 10:30am-11:45am and MWG 12:00pm – 1:15pm.

The classes will meet weekly in either online, hybrid or in-classroom format.

QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates should have completed their Master’s degree from an accredited institution in business administration or management.  In addition, the candidate must have recent undergraduate classroom teaching experience. Knowledge of best teaching practices is required.

Official transcripts for all degrees earned, sample course syllabi, course evaluations, and/or other evidence of teaching effectiveness will be submitted for the initial review.  If the candidate is invited for an interview and teaching demonstration, contact information for three professional references will be requested. Preference is given to candidates who demonstrate excellence with engaged and active learning practices in the classroom.
