Adjunct for Political Science (Globalization)

Trinity Washington University is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach an online course on Globalization (POLS 243), Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:00 PM – 1:15 PM. The semester starts the week of 9/8/2020.

QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates should have earned at least a Master’s degree from an accredited institution in political science, international affairs, or a related discipline. Teaching experience, particular in an online setting, is highly desired.

Official transcripts for all degrees earned, sample course syllabi, course evaluations and/or other evidence of teaching effectiveness, and contact information for three professional references will be requested if the candidate is invited for an online interview. Knowledge of best teaching practices is required. Finalists will be invited to campus for an interview and teaching demonstration. Preference given to candidates who demonstrate excellence with engaged and active learning practices.
