Trinity Washington University, one of the premier learning centers in the metro D.C region, seeks a creative and energetic sales leader to join an outstanding team of enrollment development professionals for the Graduate Education and Counseling programs.

This individual will be part of the team of professionals that connect prospective students with Trinity’s dynamic programs at the graduate level. Trinity seeks team members with strong communication talents, eagerness to develop new institutional relationships in area school systems and counseling settings.

Located in the Brookland neighborhood of northeast Washington, DC, and with easy access to public transportation (including Metro’s Red Line), Trinity enrolls more than 2,000 undergraduates, graduate, and professional school students from around the region in day, evening, and weekend programs.

The Enrollment Recruiter for the School of Education should have knowledge, experience, and proven success in the following areas:

Recruiting student prospects by generating leads through building corporate relationships, attending recruitment fairs, and building relationships with relevant organizations, community outreach, and other functions to attract student inquiries.
• Success identifying lead generation opportunities and cultivating partnerships with K-12 school district leadership (public, private and charter); early childhood centers; K-12 educational and mental health advocacy nonprofits; and federal educational and mental health policy communities that lead to new student enrollment.
• Ability to grow and expand social media presence into new social media platforms, plus increase presence on existing platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram
• A thorough understanding of the K-12 community in metropolitan Washington, D. C.
• Excellent oral and written talents, a strong track record of success in sales and admissions at prior institutions,
• The ability to develop a strong network of continuous relationships with employers and organizations in the field
• Follow up with Inquires and Applicants through enrollment, registration, and orientation.
• Interviewing prospective students to determine suitability for Trinity’s programs.
• Reviewing applications for admission.
• Coordinating on campus programming.

• Communicating the mission of Trinity to prospective students, families, and the educational community at large.
• Accountability and communication
• Respond to multiple daily emails, online chats, miscellaneous correspondence, and other inquiries to guide students in admission processes.
• Processes correspondence as directed.
• Maintains integrity and confidentiality in the handling of information and sensitive matters in an academic atmosphere.

Requirements
• A bachelor’s degree with at least three years of successful professional sales experience. Master’s preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Must have and be willing to drive their own cars. Trinity reimburses mileage and travel expenses.
