Adjuncts for Critical Reading

Trinity Washington University is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach Critical Reading and Writing Seminar 101 (4 credits) day classes. This is an immediate opportunity.

Successful candidates should have earned at least a Master’s degree from an accredited institution in composition and rhetoric, curriculum and instruction in literacy studies, or other closely related field.

Official transcripts for all degrees earned, sample course syllabi, course evaluations and/or other evidence of teaching effectiveness, and contact information for three professional references will be needed if the candidate is invited to campus for an interview. Knowledge of best teaching practices is required. Finalists will be invited to campus for an interview and teaching demonstration. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate excellence with engaged and active learning practices, with strong backgrounds in higher education pedagogy and classroom instruction.
