Health Insurance Enrollment Deadline

Insurance Fees and Options for BGS, EDU, NHP and SPS

Trinity Washington University is pleased to offer ALL students and their families Student Insurance Plan Options for the 2019-2020 Academic Year including access to comprehensive health care at an affordable premium, access to preferred providers for less out of pocket and online features to help you better manage your benefits.

When you enroll in our student insurance plan, the Health and Wellness Center’s Nurse Practitioners will serve as your Primary Care Providers, managing all of your health needs right on campus in a comprehensive setting that is convenient for you and free of charge.

All students are required to have adequate health insurance coverage while they attend Trinity Washington University.

Comprehensive Insurance

• Full Academic Year 2019-2020: All students enrolled in the Business and Graduate Studies (BGS); School of Education (EDU); School of Nursing and Health Professions (NHP – non CAS programs) and School of Professional Studies (SPS) are invited to enroll in the Trinity Washington University student health insurance plan offered by Cigna.
  • The annual premium of $2,060 or $1,030 per semester is charged through our Program Manager A.J. Flood. The enrollment deadline is Tuesday, September 3, 2019. Click here to complete the Enrollment Form.
  • This plan coverage is from 8/01/2019 through 7/31/20 and allows you to utilize the Health and Wellness Center as your Primary Care Provider while you are attending Trinity.  Our comprehensive medical and counseling services are detailed here.
  • This plan allows for dependents, at the cost of $2,060 annual for each additional dependent.
