Philosophy

My goals when working with clients of any age is to help them discover (or rediscover) the dignity and self-confidence that comes with independence and help open up a world where they can participate in life freely. When working with students, I aspire to help them discover that there is joy and fun in learning and to help kindle a passion for life-long learning. This, of course, can be a daunting task when working with individuals who have disabilities and challenges that extend into every aspect of their life. However, it is also very rewarding to be a member of a team that helps someone succeed in living their life to their fullest capacity.
