Winter 2024 Graduation Checklist

To be sure that you are ready to enjoy the Winter Graduation on Thursday, January 4, 5:00 pm (BGS, SPS and EDU) or Friday, January 5, 5:00 pm (CAS and NHP), please review these steps.

1. Completed the Application for Graduation and submitted it to the Enrollment Services office.
2. Completed the Graduation Verification Checklist with my academic advisor.  I understand that I will not be able to graduate if I have not completed all of my credits and requirements.  I understand that all official transcripts for coursework completed outside of Trinity must be submitted to Enrollment Services by Friday December 1, 2023.
3. I have paid all of my bills including any outstanding tuition payments, library fines, and parking fees, and I have settled any other financial obligations to Trinity.  I understand that I will not participate in Winter Graduation if I do not settle my bill before Friday, December 1, 2023.
4. Completed and submitted my Winter Graduation Reservation Form by Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
5. Purchase my academic regalia at the Trinity Business Office; sales begin on Wednesday November 29, during regular hours and will continue to be available through Wednesday January 3, 2024. Please keep in mind that the University is closed from December 23rd through January 1st. If you already have your Cap and Gown from Convocation, then you only need to purchase your collar/hood.
6. Cap and Gown Distribution will begin on Wednesday November 29th and run weekdays through Friday December 15th, and on Saturday December 16th, and will resume after the Winter Break on Tuesday January 2nd through Wednesday January 3rd from Student Affairs, Main 223.  Graduates will receive their collar or hood at check in at the Trinity Center for the in-person ceremony on graduation day, but it needs to be purchased in advance.
7. Received my 10 guest tickets to share with family and friends.
8. Complete the Alumnae/i Contact Card to receive updates and information from Trinity after you graduate! Visit: https://discover.trinitydc.edu/alums/update-your-address/.
9. Arrive at the Trinity Center no later than 4:00 pm on the day of my graduation ceremony, with my academic regalia.
