Trinity’s athletic coaching staff has evolved over this past summer. With the hiring of a new head women’s basketball coach Tiffany Lockett, new assistant soccer coach, Najla Muhammad and two new assistant volleyball coaches, Brianna Clark and Khalid Kiker. Also, former assistant soccer coach, Jason Gross has been promoted to women’s head soccer coach.

Jason Gross will serve as the women’s head soccer coach after two years as the assistant coach at Trinity. He has coached for more than a decade in youth travel and high school soccer. “I’m very excited to step into the assistant coach role at Trinity, especially under a talented head coach such as Jason. The learning opportunities will be endless, and I believe together we have the potential to make a huge impact within the program,” said Muhammad.

Muhammad played Division 3 soccer at La Salle University where she earned a Bachelors in Criminal Justice and MBA.

To assistant volleyball head coach Shinicka Spears this season we will have both Kiker Khalid and Brianna Clark.

Filling our second assistant volleyball coaching positions is Brianna Clark, who comes with playing experience at the Division 2 level playing for Virginia State University as a defensive specialist/libero from 2009-2012. “I am honored and thankful to be a part of this growing program and the Trinity family. Volleyball has been a part of my life for 11 years and I’m excited to grow within the game even more. Coaching is a special calling, one in which I don’t take lightly and my goal is to assist in developing young women on and off the court. It’s going to be a great season! Go Tigers,” said Clark.

The Trinity community is excited about all the changes within the program and believes it will lead the program and student-athletes to success on and off the court/field in the years to come.
